  法律和政策可以为健康、教育、工作以及从生到死的社会福利等方面的机会均等提供坚实基础。全球政策的国别比较,可以为评估不同政策工具减少不平等的效果以及确定哪种工具有效,提供强有力的分析工具。虽然过去几十年间全球在促进机会均等方面取得了重要进展,但各个国家仍然面临着诸多挑战,还有许多工作要做。就社会政策对经济、健康和幸福的影响进行量化评估,可以加快确保所有人都能满足其基本需求和释放潜能。
