诺贝尔经济学奖50年

结论

  经济学并不是阿尔弗雷德·诺贝尔为表彰那些“为人类做出杰出贡献”的人而选择的五个领域之一。1968年增设的这一奖项,最初居于二等地位。但是,瑞典皇家科学院在经济学奖的提名过程、选择标准、结果公布和颁奖典礼上所遵循的流程,与最初的三个科学领域的诺贝尔奖相同。随着时间的推移,由于经济学奖得主的专业贡献和在某些情况下的高公众知名度,以及经济学领域重要性的日益增长和所获得的认可度不断提高,经济学奖得主自己、经济学专业以及他们对人类福祉所做的贡献而赢得了实质性的认可。

  本文展现和总结了诺贝尔经济学奖得主的人口统计数据、学术谱系,以及与其他获奖者的关系。在其存续的50年中,诺贝尔奖揭示了这81位获奖者的上下求索和交集,这构成了他们之间紧密的情谊,并展示了科学进步如何站在前人的肩膀上。我们以不需要经济学博士学位也能理解的语言,阐述了少数经济学奖得主的理论贡献、实践和政策应用。同样被认可的还有诺贝尔经济学奖得主的一些同时代者,他们也提出了重要的经济学观点,尽管没能在任何一个12月飞往斯德哥尔摩领奖。
